Crown Oil

Kicking of 2021 with some amazing built up letters for a local company, Crown Oil. 

The whole process undertaken in house at Bolton Sign from initial concept and design right through to manufacture and installation. 

This project has been a working progress for many months, several options were put forward to our client including large scale illuminated flex face boxes and 3D acrylic built up letters. The Crown Oil team settled on a traditional metal rimless built up letter with red illuminated faces with a white halo illumination. 

With this project we worked hard to match the colours of materials used to existing branding including the lettering on tankers. The colour of the acrylic faces was tricky as the shade varied slightly when illuminated and non-illuminated.  The best match was a Perspex translucent 4403.  

We were overwhelmed with the positive feedback on completion of the installation, Gary worked closely with us throughout the process to bring the companies vison to life.
