As part of a £26 million regeneration investment, The Lowry Outlet has been rebranded to Quayside MediaCity UK, the lifestyle outlets in Salford are also home to the recently redeveloped all recliner Vue Cinema, Virgin Active and “The Watergardens” – a waterfront leisure and dining destination.

Bolton sign were trusted with both the signage and bespoke lighting features in this hugely exciting project.

These illuminated hoops, designed by Studio Fractal, were constructed in house from 3 mm aluminum housing super bright LEDs and 5mm thick opal acrylic to perfectly diffuse the light, custom painted in house soft metallic gold to tie in existing hardware throughout the center which pulls various features together creating a wonderful flow in the design and concept. Bolton Sign supplied the illuminated feature lights in a variety of diameters to achieve the desired effect ranging from 1000mm to 3000mm on behalf of Studio Tech.

As pictured the visual effect is stunning and certainty achieves exactly what the designers had in mind.
